Sentence

Talk to. Now see, that was not a sentence. A sentence is a group of words or sometimes one word, that tells or makes a complete thought. For example, "The car ran after me." That's a sentence. "The car ran over me." That's also a sentence. "The car squished me all over the street." That's a sentence too. "I told." That is not a sentence because it is not a complete thought. Think about it for a moment. "I told . . . what? What? What did you tell? Tell me! I need to know. I need to know now! What did you tell? Whom did you tell? Please, oh please complete the thought before I go crazy! And I will too.

Anyway, a sentence can also be one word. For example, when I was little tike I saw a luscious cupcake and I tried to stuff the entire thing, wrapper and all, into my mouth and my mother yelled, "STOP!!" That's a sentence even though it's only one word. Boy, that cupcake was good.

Well, look below and click on the word or groups of words that you think are sentences. Ta, taaaa!
