Why did Gilgamesh "grow bitter and cruel"? He had no friends; he was always alone.
What did Gilgamesh do to show how strong and powerful he was to the people? He ordered a great wall to be built.
Why did the people want to help build the wall in the beginning? They thought the King must have good reason for wanting to build the wall.
Why did the people grow "restless" as the wall got higher and higher? Men fainted from work and hunger; there was little food.
How did the Sun God answer the people's prayers for help? He ordered the creation of Enkidu, another man as strong as Gilgamesh.
