The United States Constitution: Slavery & VotingHello Everyone, The following are two amendments to the United States Constitution. The first(Article 13) abolished slavery and the second(Article 15) gave voting rights to men regardless of race. It should be noted that women did not legally have the right to vote until 1920(Article 18). Frederick Douglass fought for all these rights though he did not live to see women get the right to vote.
