What happens to the dog after seeing Odysseus? (p. 21) It dies in peace, because it had finally seen its master come home.
What is Telemachus supposed to do with the suitors weapons? (p. 27) Remove them from the downstairs hall. If anyone asks he will tell them he doesn't want them to get damaged by the heat and smoke of the household fires.
What is the contest that Penelope devises for the suitors? (p. 39) The man who can string the bow of Odysseus and then shoot an arrow through the rings at the end of twelve ax handles she will marry.
Why does Athena call Odysseus a "faithless mortal"? (p. 42) Because he is worried about the battle with the suitors, as if he does not remember all the times that Athena helped him in the past.
