Why is the above a wise thing to do? Or is it?
On page 42 it says, "A hero, you know, must hold himself in readiness for any kind of fate . . ." What does this mean?
On page 49 it says, "For these earth-born creatures are only difficult to conquer on their own ground, but may easily be managed if we can contrive to lift them into a loftier and purer region." What do you think this means?
Why did Hercules and Antaeus fight? Did they have to?
