Two children reading books

This Literature Unit Is:

Animal Farm
by George Orwell

Introduction

Probably George Orwell's most famous work is 1984, but Animal Farm is also immensely popular. Set on a small farm where the pigs take control, Orwell's fable is really a comment on the old Soviet Union. He wrote it in England when it was not popular to attack the U.S.S.R.
